Reed Brown had a record breaking season this year that capped off a stellar career at Southlake Carroll in which he won 2 state individual titles on the track.
In the fall Reed became to 2nd Texan ever to win a Footlocker National Championship, with the other being the great Olympian Ruben Reina. Reed came short of winning the state title in the 1600m but he would become the first Prep Texan to break the 4 minute mile running an amazing 3:59.30 at the Festival of miles placing him 4th on the all-time Prep list.
Reed will continue his running career at the University of Oregon. I am sure will we see him see great races at Hayward field for years to come.
